More than 100 firefighters who were exposed to toxic smoke tackling the Grenfell Tower fire are now suffering from diseases.

The Fire Brigades Union says a quarter of those who responded to the tragedy in 2017 now have life-changing health problems.

The research shows the majority of firefighters who’ve since reported issues weren’t able to follow safety protocols because of the severity of the incident.
