More Poundland shops are going to close despite a restructuring plan being approved in court saving it from collapse.

Lawyers argued the high street retailer would’ve run out of money by the 7th of September if it hadn’t secured £60-milion in new funding.

The sites which have been identified include Poundland Chiswick with a further 16 to follow.

The business was sold for £1 in June, and employs almost 15,000 staff nationwide.
