More Countryside Volunteers are needed to work across Claygate Common and Weybridge Heath.

The habitats, which are managed by Elmbridge Borough Council, include woodlands, meadows, ponds and wetlands.

Volunteers are needed to help preserve and promote biodiversity across the autumn and winter months.

Tasks will include cutting back gorse, removing birch saplings and thinning holly to encourage natural tree regeneration.
