That’s according to Climate Emergency UK, who have just published their second edition of the Council Climate Action Scorecards.
Merton improved on its 2023 score by 7%, taking the overall score to 67%, whilst the UK average was 38%.
As well as placing strongly overall in the top 10, Merton ranked first in the country for Planning & Land Use.
