Maternity services at St Peter’s Hospital in Chertsey have improved two years after bosses were told they needed to do so.

The department has been awarded a new “good” rating by the Care Quality Commission.

Inspectors assessed how safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led the service was.

They say they found significant improvements had been made since their last visit in 2023.
