March the 19th marks 40 years of the hospice charity’s Great Daffodil Appeal.

Volunteers will spend 2 hours on the day giving out daffodil pins in return for a donation outside the train station.

We’re also all being asked to wear yellow this March to support the charity as a whole.

To volunteer at Richmond station on the 19th of March, or to find other ways to support the Great Daffodil Appeal, visit Marie Curie’s website or contact Sophy Alexander at sophy.alexander@mariecurie.org.uk or 07591 389 046.

Sophy Alexander, Community Fundraiser for Surrey, said: “By giving just a couple of hours at Richmond station, you’ll be helping Marie Curie support more people living with a terminal illness. Marie Curie volunteers are fully supported – and the big yellow hat is included!”
