Firefighters were called to the station just after 5.30pm on the 21st of March following an explosion.
The e-bike owner had purchased it online four months before with no issues arising reported.
Station Officer Nigel McLachlan says this highlights that ‘it is very important to buy e-bikes only from a reputable high street seller’.
There are no reports of any injuries.
