Local primary school pupils performed at Riverside Studios in Hammersmith to honour the Windrush generation for Black History Month.

Their performances were a mixture of poetry readings, songs, dances and interviews. Hammersmith and Fulham Mayor Cllr Patricia Quigley and Cllr Sharon Holder attended.

Cllr Quigley said “Those who arrived brought their heritage and culture with them and created a template for multicultural Britain.”
