Lidl says it still sees room to open hundreds more shops across Britain.

The supermarket chain, who’s HQ is in Tolworth, will reach its one thousandth store next month and plans 40 more openings this year.

It comes as the retailer continues to challenge the big four supermarkets and rival Aldi’s expansion.
