The prime minister’s hit out at a status quo that’s ‘failed working people’ in his address to Labour’s party conference.
Sir Keir Starmer told members they stand at a ‘fork in the road’ between ‘decency’ and ‘division’.
The prime minister says future decisions that “are not cost free or easy” may divide the party.
He’s also hit out at Nigel Farage, claiming the Reform leader doesn’t “believe in Britain” and wants to create a “competition of victims”.
Sir Ed Davey: Starmer’s speech must ‘mark end’ of Labour parroting Reform’s division
Responding to Keir Starmer’s speech to Labour Conference, Ed Davey, Liberal Democrat Leader, said:
”I’m glad Keir Starmer is finally stepping up the fight against Nigel Farage, and I hope this will mark the end of his government parroting Farage and copying his divisive politics.”
