Lambeth Council is to hold a special service for the African and Caribbean men and women who served in both World Wars.

A Remembrance Day Parade will be held at The African and Caribbean War Memorial on Windrush Square in Brixton.

It will take place the day before Armistice Day on Sunday, November the 10th.

Of the 17.3 million service personnel who served in both World Wars it is estimated that 2 million were from Africa and the Caribbean.
