The site in the middle of the town centre includes a basement and surface level car park with more than 550 spaces.
The basement is closed, and the market is no longer is use, but the surface car park is still open 24 hours a day.
The Cattle Market Car Park site forms part of the council’s adopted Eden Quarter Development.
