Kingston has been named as the area with the highest gender pay gap in the UK.

It comes following research by ethical fashion company, Beira, who used data from the Office of National Statistics.

The research found the London Borough’s average gender pay gap 39%, almost triple the national average of 14.3%.

The London average is 15.4%.
