It’s soon going to be easier for big events to be hosted in Morden Park.

Merton Council says it is removing the bureaucratic and time-consuming process many organisers currently face.

They have to apply for individual licenses or temporary notices in order to hold an event at the moment.

But Merton Council says it is applying for a permanent premises licence which will allow for a range of events under one umbrella.
