It’s rumoured that Chelsea’s co-owners are looking to buy each other out of control of the club.

American billionaire Todd Boehly stepped down as interim sporting director in 2023, handing over to majority owners Clearlake Capital.

It’s reported that senior club figures recognise there is a rift between the two owners.

Clearlake is looking to expand its 61.5% stake in the club, whilst Boehly reportedly wants to buy them out of it.
