A new report has revealed The Children’s Trust in Tadworth carried out “inconsistent” visual checks during overnight observations.
The Care Quality Commission has published the findings from its latest inspection in February.
It found that some staff placed a hand on youngsters’ chests during overnight observations.
But others stood at the entrance of the door to observe instead.
The nationwide charity delivers rehabilitation for young people with brain injury.
The report did note that staff treated children, young people and their families with “compassion and kindness and respected their privacy.
