“Hundreds” of new hazardous damp and mould cases have been logged by Lambeth Council.

It follows the introduction of Awaab’s Law in October.

The law requires social landlords to fix dangerous mould cases within strict timeframes and repair all emergency hazards within 24 hours.

Lambeth says over £3.4 billion of investment will be required over the next 30 years to make all social homes modern and warm.
