Hounslow Council has approved funding for six tennis courts to be converted into padel ones instead.

The changes will take place at Hanworth and Isleworth Leisure Centres.

Padel is played on smaller courts and with lighter racquets.

The estimated cost is £950,000 and it’s hoped they’ll be ready by spring next year.
