Hounslow Council has announced a major roll out of electric car charging points across the borough.

The plan is to introduce 2,000 more, all paid for by the companies operating them.

The council says they will be quick to use, let you pay by card or app, and there will also be 24/7 support surrounding the roll-out.

They will be installed in lamp posts in residential streets.
