Hinchley Wood Sports Ground in Esher has been targeted in an attempted robbery.
Police were called to reports of a burglary in progress at the site in Manor Road South just before 10pm last Thursday.
It’s reported three people damaged the security floodlighting, forced entry to storage unit and attempted to steal some power tools.
They were disturbed and fled the scene empty handed.
