Heathrow’s boss will be questioned by MPs later over the substation fire in Hayes that closed the airport.

They’ll be asking Thomas Woldbye about the “operational factors and decisions” that led to the hub’s near-24 hour shutdown.

Around 1,400 flights to be cancelled or diverted and more than 200,000 passengers were displaced on March the 21st.
