Healthcare workers who have taken their own lives have been remembered at a special ceremony at St Peter’s Hospital in Chertsey.

A tree has been planted in the QEII Covid Memorial Staff Garden.

National charity Doctors in Distress, which is the organiser of the national planting campaign, was in attendance.

Statistics show that one doctor takes their own life every three weeks in the UK and for nurses, it’s one every week.
