Cllr Florian Chevoppe-Verdier, H&F Cabinet Member for Public Realm, said: “By joining forces with passionate volunteers who care deeply about our green spaces, we can transform our parks into vibrant and inclusive spaces where everyone feels welcome and connected to nature.

“This is just one of the many ways we’re making H&F an even better place to live, work and socialise.”

Creating a new Parks Forum is a recommendation that the authority adopted from its 2020 Residents’ Commission for Parks and Open Spaces.

The aim is to have 12 members on the forum.

The minimum term for volunteer members is two years and you will be expected to attend monthly meetings 6pm-8pm alternating between central Hammersmith and virtually on Microsoft Teams.

In addition to this, the council says participation in working groups and attendance to park walks/site visits is expected.

You must also be willing to declare any registered interests upon appointment.
