Gary Lineker’s been shortlisted for a National Television Award, months after leaving the BBC’s Match Of The Day.

Lineker, who lives in Barnes, is up for best presenter alongside Ant and Dec, who’ve won in the category for 23 years running.

The former footballer left over social media posts he apologised for and is due to host a new ITV game show, out next year.
