Fuller’s Brewery has joined forces with Hammersmith and Fulham Council on a campaign designed to prevent male suicide.

New data shows England and Wales are facing the highest suicide rate since 1999, with the biggest leap among men aged 45 to 49.

The council says this is also reflected in the statistics for the borough, with a much higher rate amongst men than women.

Posters with QR codes directing men to help and support charities have gone up in 11 Fuller’s pubs in the borough.

Fuller’s team members will also be offered specialist training to spot the signs of someone struggling.
