Four young men, including one from Croydon, have been sentenced after they stabbed a teen on board a train.

The court heard how 19-year-old Kumarl Best, from Thornton Heath, produced a large knife and stabbed the victim multiple times.

Best pleaded guilty to causing grievous bodily harm and possession of an offensive weapon and was sentenced to 31 months.

The group of four have been sentenced to a total of more than seven years in Young Offenders Institutes between them.
