Four mobile operating theatres that opened at the Queen Mary’s Hospital in Roehampton during the Covid-19 pandemic are set to be closed

Its understood the St George’s University Hospitals NHS Foundations Trust plans to shut the temporary theatres.

They’re going to move the services to an expanded day surgery unit at St George’s Hospital in Tooting.

The move is expected to save 3-millions pounds a year.
