Victims of the Horizon IT scandal are being urged to take the government to court over compensation delays.
In an email, Sir Alan Bates believes it’ll take another two-and-a-half years to complete every claim, arguing legal action is the ‘quickest way to ensure fairness’.
The government rejects that saying claimants who respond promptly should receive payouts by the end of this year.
But ex-subpostmistress Yvonne Tracey agrees the legal route’s the best option.
