Former Chelsea player and manager Eddie McCreadie has died aged 85.

The full-back scored the decisive goal as the Londoners lifted the League Cup in 1965 and went on to win the FA Cup in 1970.

As manager, he led them to promotion back to the top tier of English football in 1977.

McCreadie played 23 times for Scotland.
