Former Chelsea and Southampton defender Ryan Bertrand has announced his retirement from football.

The 34-year-old won the Champions League and FA Cup during his time at Stamford Bridge.

He may be best remembered by Chelsea fans for starting on the left-wing in their miraculous Champions League final win against Bayern.

Bertrand was also capped 19 times by England.
