Paramedics treated 16 people for injuries after the Land Rover crashed into The Study Prep School during a picnic on the last day of term.
The driver, a woman in her 40s, has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
Detective Chief Superintendent Claire Kelland says the investigation’s still at an early stage.
