The blaze broke out at a terraced house, made up of flats, in Southerton Road in the early hours of Sunday.
Half of a two roomed flat on the ground floor of the three storey building was damaged by the fire.
Three people left the building before firefighters arrived and there are no reports of any injuries.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
