Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters were called to a fire in woodland at the rear of a freight depot.
An area measuring just over the size of a basketball court was destroyed by fire.
During the fire, two 15 kg cylinders at the site were removed by firefighters and cooled to an ambient temperature, as gas cylinders can explode when exposed to heat.
The cause of the fire was accidental and believed to be due to the careless disposal of smoking materials.
