Fifteen arrests have been made in a Met Police operation targeting an organised shoplifting gang in South West London.

Raids in Mitcham, Balham, Wimbledon, Tooting, and Cheam recovered £150k of stolen goods marked with synthetic DNA.

The stolen items, including alcohol and food, were being sold at discounted prices in shops.

Those arrested have been bailed and enquiries continue
