The Great River Race will see more than 2,500 competitors from across the globe take part in the gruelling upstream voyage.
It starts at Millwall in East London, covering 21.6 miles and finishing at Richmond riverside.
The first of over 250 vessels is expected to travel under Wandsworth Bridge on its way to Hammersmith between 2.45pm and 3.30pm.
