Ministers have confirmed they’ll support a Lib Dem effort in Parliament to ensure documents about Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s appointment as a trade envoy are made public.

The former prince had that job for a decade to 2011 with recent documents released in the US appearing to show he shared sensitive information with Jeffrey Epstein.

Andrew’s insisted he did nothing wrong.

A Commons debate is currently taking place on the matter.

Lib Dem MP for Esher and Walton, Monica Harding, has been talking during the debate about her time working with the British Council in the early 2000s where she says his “reputation preceded him.”
