Esher and Walton’s MP says she will continue to hold the Government’s plan for Heathrow expansion to account.

It’s after it was announced the reviewed draft Airports National Policy Statement is due to be published for consultation by next summer.

Transport Secretary Heidi Alexander says her ambition is for flights to take off from a new runway in 2035.

Meanwhile, Gatwick Airport’s expansion plan, known as the Northern Runway Project has also been approved by the government.
