Epsom Common has won its 19th consecutive Green Flag Award for excellence as a nature reserve.

The area is known for its oak woods, wetlands, rare insects, breeding birds, cotton spotted orchids, and purple emperor butterflies.

The council says it provides valuable open space for the community’s health and wellbeing.
