The Tory MP served as the Transport Secretary for three years, he is among more than 40 Conservatives who won’t defend their seat.
He reveals that despite successful treatment for prostate cancer earlier this year, his diagnosis led to him deciding it’s “time for a change.”
He’s represented Epsom and Ewell since 2001.
