An event at Bourne Hall today will highlight volunteers’ work over the past year and also see the launch of the Ewell Library of Things.
This lets residents borrow items like DIY tools and kitchen equipment to save help money and reduce waste.
Founder William Ward says the project aims to make “borrowing, not buying” a normal choice and strengthen community sharing.
