Epsom and Ewell Borough Council says it is trying to remove an unauthorised encampment at Poole Road Recreation Ground.

The authority says it’s working with the police to try and move the people concerned on.

Council bosses say “We appreciate that this is a frustrating time.

We are working with the police, and going through due legal process, to rectify this situation as quickly as possible.”
