England goalkeeper Hannah Hampton says their determination not to go home early from the Women’s Euros got them through to the semi-finals.

The Chelsea player saved a couple of spot-kicks as the defending champions beat Sweden 3-2 on penalties.

That was after the Lionesses came back from 2-nil down to draw 2-all and force extra-time.

Hampton feels their team spirit was the deciding factor.
