England fly-half Fin Smith is in a race to be fit for the start of rugby union’s Six Nations, after suffering a calf injury.

His club, Northampton, say he will be out of action for at least two weeks, while they await scan results.

Harlequins’ Marcus Smith is another contender for England at fly-half if Fin Smith is unavailable.

England begin their campaign against Wales on the 7th of February.
