Croydon’s health services need a deeper understanding of the lives of the LGBTQ+ community in order to help them.

That’s according to the borough’s Director of Public Health, Rachel Flowers.

Her annual report reveals a lack of recorded data on people in the community means they aren’t getting the health services they need.

But Ms Flowers tells us some LGBTQ+ residents may feel uncomfortable sharing details about themselves.
