Croydon will hold a civic ceremony on Sunday to mark nine years since the Sandilands tram derailment in New Addington.

Seven people died and more than 60 were injured when the tram derailed near Sandilands tram stop on the 9th of November 2016.

The ceremony will start at 1pm at the memorial in Market Square with a period of silence and floral tributes.

Residents affected aged 18 and over can access support through Croydon Talking Therapies.
