The Met is stepping up patrols to hone in on theft, shoplifting and anti-social behaviour.
More officers will be on the streets with behind-the-scenes operations to catch repeat offenders.
The move comes after recent drops in crime, including fewer burglaries and stabbings, and big improvements in shoplifting cases.
