Croydon Council is seeking feedback on proposed updates to the borough’s school admission policy for primary and secondary schools.

The aim is to ensure fair and transparent allocation of school places, in line with the government’s School Admission Code 2021.

The council suggests reducing admission numbers at Beulah Junior School and Winterbourne Infants School due to lower birth rates.

Other adjustments clarify criteria based on resident feedback.

The consultation is open until 13 December 2024 on the council website.
