Croydon’s planning, housing and regeneration teams have been working with the club on the redevelopment.
Once completed, the glass-fronted stand – reminiscent of the original Crystal Palace – will hold 13,500 fans.
It will have three tiers of seating, as well as improved access, a new club shop, museum and a café for visitors.
