Croydon and Hammersmith and Fulham are included in 15 locations as part of a rollout of additional CCTV cameras at bus stop

It’s been revealed that CCTV at bus stops in London has had a ‘very positive impact’ on making women feel safer.

TfL says early feedback from trial scheme showed cameras made 80% of women feel safer.

The scheme launched in April 2024 at five bus shelters at Peckham Library, Finsbury Park, Gants Hill, Stratford and Turnpike Lane.
