Councillors in Wandsworth have formally voted to back the campaign to save children’s cancer services at St George’s Hospital in Tooting.

NHS England wants to transfer them to the Evelina Hospital in central London.

But there’s concern about the added pressure this would create on families undergoing treatment.

Councillors also expressed concern that parking restrictions in central London would create major difficulties and incur worrying costs.
